Sesame Ginger Steak Skewers

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs flank steak
For the marinade
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce low sodium
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil toasted
  • 1 tablespoon ginger root fresh, grated
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Chili garlic sauce more or less to taste
  • 3 tbsp ketchup

Instructions

  1. Whisk together all ingredients for the marinade in a medium to large bowl, set aside.
  2. Slice flank steak against the grain in 1/4 inch slices.
  3. Add the steak slices to the marinade, toss to coat. Marinate in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
  4. When ready to cook, thread the steak onto the skewers, leaving about 2 inches of space on each end of the skewer. Discard excess marinade.
  5. Grill over high heat, 2-3 minutes per side.
