Sesame Roasted Pears

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe pears cut in quarters and pitted
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 - 1/2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
  • sesame seeds for garnish
  • Lime slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Put the pears on a baking sheet, cut sides up. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and brush all over with sesame oil.
  2. Place them into the oven and roast 20 to 25 minutes, until very tender when pierced with a knife. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced lime.
