Shabu Shabu
Shabu Shabu is a Japanese hot pot dish where thinly sliced meat, crab, and vegetables like Napa cabbage and mushrooms are quickly cooked in kombu seaweed broth. The meat is briefly blanched in simmering soup and dipped into sauces such as sesame or ponzu, accompanied by condiments like scallions and shichimi togarashi. The broth and ingredients create a flavorful, interactive meal often enjoyed with steamed rice or ramen.
