Shishito Peppers

Here is a simple recipe for pan-fried shishito peppers

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shishito peppers
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt course
  • Lemon wedges optional

Instructions

  1. Rinse the shishito peppers and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the shishito peppers to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the peppers are lightly charred and blistered.
  4. Sprinkle the coarse salt over the peppers and stir to distribute.
  5. Remove the peppers from the heat and transfer them to a serving dish.
  6. Squeeze lemon wedges over the peppers, if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • To customize the dish, you can also experiment with different seasonings or dipping sauces. Enjoy!
