Mojito Cocktail Recipe. Use mint herb infused simple syrup to make this easy mojito, no muddling required. Mint. lime, club soda, fresh mint.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces simple syrup to learn how to make infused simple syrup, click here, mint infused
  • 1 1/2 ounces white rum
  • 1 ounce lime juice freshly squeezed
  • ice
  • 4 ounces club soda
  • mint fresh leaves and/or wedge for garnish
  • lime fresh leaves and/or wedge for garnish

Instructions

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour mint infused simple syrup, white rum and lime juice into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously, then strain the cocktail into the glass with ice. Top off with club soda and stir in fresh mint leaves. Garnish with a lime wedge, if desired.
  2. You can make a tasty and refreshing alcohol-free beverage (aka a "mocktail") by omitting the rum and substituting ginger ale for club soda.
