Shrimp Chow Mein
Shrimp Chow Mein combines stir-fried shrimp with a mix of cabbage, carrots, celery, and garlic, tossed with chow mein noodles and a savory sauce made from soy, sweet soy (kecap manis), and oyster sauce. The noodles absorb the flavorful sauce while the vegetables retain some crunch, creating a balanced dish with sweet and umami notes. Optional bean sprouts and sesame seeds add freshness and texture.
