Shrimp Kebab

Grilled garlic butter shrimp kebabs threaded on skewers. This shrimp kebab recipe is perfectly grilled with garlic lemon butter marinade. So delicious!

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs (1.35kg) Shrimp shelled and deveined tail-on
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 dashes cayenne pepper
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Soak the bamboo skewers in water. Rinse the shrimp, pat them dry with paper towels, and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic, melted butter, salt, cayenne pepper, and lemon juice. Reserve some for grilling. Combine the shrimp with the garlic butter mixture, then thread three shrimp onto each bamboo skewer.
  3. Grill the shrimp on a grill, brushing the garlic butter mixture on both sides while cooking. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You may bake the shrimp in an oven at 400F for about 8 minutes or until they are cooked.
