Simple Granola Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 cups oats
  • ⅔ cup pecans chopped
  • ⅔ cup almonds chopped
  • 1 cup shredded coconut unsweetened
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup butter
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ⅔ cup brown sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract
  • ½ cup dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325ºF.
  2. Combine oats, nuts, coconut, and salt and cinnamon.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter, honey and sugar until sugar is dissolved.
  4. Off heat, add the extracts.
  5. Pour over oat mixture and mix until everything is evenly coated.
  6. Transfer to a lined cookie tray and bake for 40 minutes, lightly stirring and flipping every 10-15 minutes.
  7. Add cranberries after it comes out of the oven while it’s still hot. Let cool and break into desired sizes.
