Simple Red Sangria Recipe
All things will be “Merry and Bright” with this delicious Red Sangria Recipe! It’s the perfect drink for all your holiday parties!
Ingredients
- 750 mL red wine (preferably merlot)
- 1 cup vodka
- 1 cup sparkling water (regular or flavored)
- 1 cup pomegranate juice
- 1 orange sliced
- 2 bartlett pears seeded and sliced
- 1 pomegranate seeded
Instructions
- In a 2-quart pitcher, stir together the red wine, vodka, sparkling water, and pomegranate juice.
- Add fruit to the pitcher and stir again.
- Chill the pitcher of sangria for at least 4 hours (or overnight).
- Serve in wine glasses with fruit from the pitcher.
Notes
- If you're in a rush, you can serve this sangria right after mixing it up, but it's really better to wait and let the flavors all marry together.
