Simple Sausage Gravy
Simple Sausage Gravy is a classic, hearty sauce made by browning ground pork sausage then thickening with all-purpose flour and milk. Seasoned with salt and pepper, it creates a creamy, savory gravy with small sausage pieces dispersed throughout. This gravy complements biscuits, toast, or breakfast dishes with a comforting, rich texture and flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground pork sausage
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 cups milk
- salt to taste
