Sinabawang Corned Beef

Ingredients

  • 11.5 ounces corned beef Canned
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 1 potato
  • 1/4 cup parsley chopped
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed and minced
  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan
  2. Sauté garlic and onion until the texture gets soft
  3. Add the corned beef. Stir and continue to cook for 3 minutes.
  4. Slide the potato into the pan. Cook for 5 minutes while stirring once in a while.
  5. Pour water. Let boil. Adjust the heat to low and then continue cooking until the liquid reduces to half.
  6. Stir-in half the parsley. Note: you can add more water if you want your dish to be soupy.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Transfer to a serving bowl. Top with remaining parsley.
  9. Serve. Share and enjoy!
