Skillet Garlic Butter Pork Chops and Green Beans

This easy pork chop meal is made in one pan with green beans and a delicious garlic butter sauce. Ready in only 20 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 2 bone-in center cut pork chops 1/2 inch thick
  • 1 teaspoon salt divided
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper divided
  • 1/2 cup salted butter
  • 1 pound green beans trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic  about 3 cloves

  1. Season both sides of 2 bone-in center cut pork chops with 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon smoked paprika, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
  2. Heat a large heavy skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Melt 1/2 cup salted butter in the skillet. On one side of the skillet, add the pork chops and sear for 3 to 5 minutes per side.
  4. On the other half of the skillet, add 1 pound green beans and cook for 7 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender-crisp. Season with the remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
  5. Add 1 tablespoon minced garlic to the butter in the skillet. Stir into the green beans and cook for 1 minute before removing the skillet from the stove.
  6. Spoon garlic butter over the pork chops. Check the internal temperature of the pork chops; continue cooking if needed until they reach 145°F (63°C).
  7. Serve hot. Season to taste.
