Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard (a grainy one)
  • 2 Tbsp yellow mustard
  • 5 Tbsp honey
  • 3 Tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the chicken breasts, season with the salt and pepper. Brown each side of the chicken breasts for approximately 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  2. Then in a small bowl, whisk together the mustard, dijon mustard, honey and butter.
  3. Pour the honey mustard mixture over the chicken in the pan. Then add the water to the pan.
  4. Reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer for approximately 10-15 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal chicken of 165 degrees F.
