Ingredients

  • 2/3 2/3 cup unsweetened dark cocoa powder
  • 1/4 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 1 cup coconut milk
  • pinch espresso powder
  • 4 4 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Place cocoa powder, salt, coconut milk, espresso powder and sugar in a heavy-bottomed saucepan.
  2. Bring ingredients to a boil over medium high heat, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes, whisking constantly, until thickened.
  3. Remove from heat. Cool slightly, whisk in vanilla and transfer to fondue pot or a small slow cooker on a warm setting.
  4. Serve warm with a variety of dippers, such as strawberries, pineapple chunks, apple slices, banana slices, or other fresh fruit.
