Skinny Spicy Jalapeno Margarita Recipe

The Skinny Spicy Jalapeno Margarita blends tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, jalapeno limeade, and diced jalapenos to deliver a refreshing cocktail with a spicy kick. Rimmed with chile lime seasoning and hot honey, the drink offers a balanced taste of heat, citrus, and sweetness, topped with lime-flavored sparkling water for a light fizz. The jalapeno elements can be adjusted to control the spice level, making this an interesting variation of the classic margarita.

  5. Finally, top each drink with La Croix Lime and garnish with jalapenos, limes, and/or cilantro.

Notes

  • For extra spiciness, include jalapeno seeds or muddle the jalapenos before shaking.
  • To infuse tequila with heat, slice jalapenos thinly and refrigerate in tequila for 2 to 3 days before making the cocktail.
  • To reduce spice, omit jalapeno seeds or add more lime sparkling water.
  • Sweeten the margarita more by adding lemonade, agave, or grapefruit juice to taste.
