- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients in a bowl or in a resealable bag. Mix the ingredients until thoroughly combined.
- Add two pounds of skirt steak to the bowl or bag. Cover the bowl or seal the bag.
- Marinate for at least 2 hours, or up to 8 hours.
- Grill, sear or broil as desired. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes, then slice against the grain and serve.
Cup of Yum
Notes
- I recommend a minimum of two hours of marinating time, but 6-8 hours is really ideal.
- It's very important to let your steak rest for a few minutes after it's cooked. Be sure to slice it against the grain for the most tender end result.
- This marinade can also be used for other cuts of beef such as London broil, flank steak or sirloin.
