Ingredients
- 4 bread slices
- 2 egg boiled for 8 minutes, boiled and peeled
- 4 tablespoon mayonnaise I have used mayonnaise, or cheese spread
- ½ teaspoon pepper freshly ground or as required
- 1 pinch salt or ⅛ teaspoon
- 1 onion finely chopped, medium
- 2 tablespoon cilantro finely chopped, fresh, or coriander
- 2 tablespoon butter or as required
Instructions
- Firstly, take two bread slices and spread the mayonnaise or cheese spread on one side of each bread slice.
- Cut the egg into slices and spread it.
- On top of that add a pinch of salt, freshly ground pepper, chopped onion, and chopped coriander.
- Cover with another bread slice.
- Spread softened butter on the outside of the bread.
- Now heat up a griddle or grill pan and place the sandwich and spread butter on the other side.
- Cook both sides for 2-3 minutes over a low flame or until crisp and golden.
- Cut the sandwich into two diagonally or as you like.
- Simple boiled egg sandwich is ready to serve. Serve hot.
