Ingredients

  • 1 Cup steel cut oatmeal do not substitute with any other kind
  • 4 Cups almond milk unsweetened
  • 3 apples cubed (I used Gala apples)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 Teaspoon nutmeg
  • pinch of allspice
  • pinch of cloves
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup you can use honey if you'd like
  • sliced almonds for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, place all the ingredients together. Mix
  2. Spray the inside of the slow cooker with nonstick spray (don't skip this step)
  3. Pour all the mixed ingredients into the slow cooker
  4. Close the lid
  5. Cook on low for 8 hours
  6. After the hours has passed, stir with a spoon and serve

Notes

  • Leftovers can be refrigerated. To reheat, place oatmeal in a bowl with a splash of almond milk
