Ingredients

  • 3-4 pounds beef brisket flat
  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 small onion quartered
  • 1 cup homemade bbq sauce (or store-bought)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl combine the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub generously on each side of the brisket and place it in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Place the onion in the slow cooker and then add the BBQ sauce on top. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 5-6.
