Slow Cooker Berry Cobbler

This Slow Cooker Berry Cobbler is a delicious homemade cobbler that is studded with sweet berries and tastes great with a scoop of ice cream!

Ingredients

Cobbler
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable or canola oil
Berry Filling
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups frozen mixed berries

Instructions

  1. Grease the inside of the slow cooker with nonstick baking spray.
  2. Add the flour, soda, baking powder, and cinnamon to a medium bowl. Whisk until combined.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, and oil.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients: egg, milk and oil until the egg is incoporated.
  5. Add the wet ingredients into the bowl of dry ingredients and stir until combined.
  6. Spread the cobbler in the bottom of the prepared slow cooker.
Berry Filling
  1. Add the flour, sugar, and salt to a large bowl. Stir it combine.
  2. Add in the frozen berries and continue to stir until the berries are coated with the dry ingredients.
  3. Spoon the berry mixture over the batter in the slow cooker.
  4. Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on high for 2 hours. If you want to suck up some of of the moisture, place a paper towel between the slow cooker and it’s lid.
  5. Serve warm topped with ice cream or whipped topping.
