Slow Cooker Chicken Breasts

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Pour the chicken broth in the bottom of a crock pot.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil on the chicken breast and use a basting brush to rub the oil onto the chicken breasts.
  4. Mix together the seasonings in a small bowl.  Sprinkle it onto the chicken and rub into the chicken breasts with the basting brush.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  6. Remove from the crock pot and then the chicken is ready to serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
