- 28 oz tomatoes crushed
- 14.5 o tomatoes diced
- 2 medium onions
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 chicken breast skinless boneless
- grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 sandwich rolls
Instructions
- Add the crushed tomatoes and diced tomatoes to the slow cooker.
- Chop the onions and garlic and add to the slow cooker.
- Add parsley, oregano, bay leaves, basil and the sauce all together.
- Place the chicken
- Set chicken breasts on top of the sauce and cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
- Stir the mixture to break up the chicken into shreds.
- Serve on rolls and top with a generous serving of Parmesan cheese.
