Slow Cooker Cranberry Sauce

Loaded with health benefits and requiring only five ingredients, this slow cooker cranberry sauce is the perfect make-ahead side dish for your table.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz bag fresh cranberries (rinsed)
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (or more to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (grated)

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place all ingredients into a slow cooker and cook on Low heat for 3 hours.
  2. Using a wooden spoon, gently mash the cranberries until desired consistency is reached.

Notes

  • Feel free to add more sugar if you prefer this sauce on the sweeter side. As you can imagine with my love of lemons, I like it a bit tart.
