Slow Cooker Garlic Mushrooms

Slow Cooker Garlic Mushrooms are an easy to make side dish made by slow cooking button mushrooms with white wine, garlic, and fresh herbs.

Servings: 6 servings
Course: Side Dish, Others

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs button mushrooms
  • 1 ¾ cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup white wine
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp thyme fresh
  • 4 tbsp butter

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Wash the mushrooms and trim the ends of the stems. Place the mushrooms into your slow cooker.
  2. Pour the chicken broth and wine over the mushrooms. Top with the minced garlic, thyme, and butter.
  3. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours, stirring every hour.

Notes

  • Save the broth! The lovely broth that the mushrooms cook in is so delicious and flavorful. It's way too good to throw away! After you take the mushrooms out of it, throw it in the freezer and use it in place of beef broth or chicken broth in recipes!
