Slow Cooker Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings Recipe

These slow cooker chicken wings are packed with rich garlic parmesan cheese and are a quick and delicious dinner or appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings - separated into wing pieces ie: "flats" cut off from drumette and wing tip
  • ½ cup Nandos Lemon Herb Peri Peri Sauce
  • ½ tsp fresh grated lemon rind
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp celtic sea salt
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare slow cooker interior by spraying with olive oil cooking spray.
  2. Place chicken wings in slow cooker.
  3. Add rest of ingredients, toss to evenly coat wings.
  4. Cook HIGH in the slow cooker for 2.5-3 hours or low 4-6 hours.
  5. You will know the chicken is done when the internal temperature reaches 165° Fahrenheit.
  6. Optional: broil for 3-5 minutes per side when finished to give extra crunch.
  7. Thicken leftover sauce on stovetop and toss wings in itt just before serving.
  8. Enjoy!
