Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate

This slow cooker hot chocolate is rich and decadent made with both whole milk and heavy cream, sweet sugar, semi-sweet chocolate and cocoa powder, and a little vanilla.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups milk whole
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup chocolate chips semi-sweet
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Toppings:
  • marshmallows
  • Whipped Cream

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. In a 6 quart or larger slow cooker add all ingredients (minus toppings) and whisk to combine.
  2. Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours, or low for 6 hours.
  3. Whisk your slow cooker hot chocolate every 30 minutes so the milk or chocolate does not scorch.
  4. Serve topped with marshmallows or whipped cream.
