Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate
This slow cooker hot chocolate is rich and decadent made with both whole milk and heavy cream, sweet sugar, semi-sweet chocolate and cocoa powder, and a little vanilla.
Ingredients
- 4 cups milk whole
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup chocolate chips semi-sweet
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder unsweetened
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Toppings:
- marshmallows
- Whipped Cream
Instructions
- In a 6 quart or larger slow cooker add all ingredients (minus toppings) and whisk to combine.
- Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours, or low for 6 hours.
- Whisk your slow cooker hot chocolate every 30 minutes so the milk or chocolate does not scorch.
- Serve topped with marshmallows or whipped cream.
