Slow Cooker Philly Cheesesteak
Slow Cooker Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches get a punch of flavor with A1 Sauce in this hearty, comfort food recipe. This is an easy slow cooker recipe that the whole family will love!
Ingredients
- 2 pound top round roast
- 1/2 cup A.1. Sauce
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 green bell pepper sliced
- 1 white onion sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 hoagie roll
- 1/4 cup butter melted
- 8 lices provolone cheese
Instructions
- Slice the roast into thin slices. Place in the bottom of a slow cooker. Pour A.1. Sauce over the meat and top with minced garlic.
- Scatter bell pepper and onion over the top. Season with salt and pepper.
- Place the lid on and cook on low 6-8 hours, or high 3-4 hours.
- Place split hoagie rolls out onto a baking sheet. Brush with melted butter and toast under the broiler setting for 2-3 minutes until lightly browned.
- Toss the cooked meat and vegetables together and scoop onto hoagie rolls. Top with Kraft Sliced Provolone Cheese. Place under the broiler setting again until cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes. Serve hot.
