Slow Cooker Shredded Beef and Horseradish Sandwich
Horseradish and tender, shredded beef make the perfect combination. Throw it in the slow cooker, put it on a bun, and dinner is done!
Ingredients
- 2-3 pounds beef roast
- salt
- black pepper
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons garlic about 2 cloves, minced
- 1 onion sliced
For Serving
- Buns
- horseradish prepared
Instructions
- Season the 2-3 pounds beef roast generously with salt and pepper. Heat a heavy skillet to high heat. Sear the roast on all sides. Transfer roast to a slow cooker.
- Pour 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce over the roast. Sprinkle crushed 2 teaspoons minced garlic over roast. Top with slices of 1 onion.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Shred beef.
- Serve on rolls or buns topped with prepared horseradish. Use as much or as little horseradish as suits your taste. I like it nice and spicy.
