Ingredients

Kitchen Gadgets:
  • Slow cooker
  • Air Fryer
Turkey Crown Ingredients:
  • 400 g Air Fryer Frozen Parsnips
  • 400 g Air Fryer Frozen Brussel Sprouts
  • 450 g Air Fryer Stuffing Balls
  • Turkey crown
  • 3 medium carrots
  • 3 celery sticks
  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 1 medium white onion
  • 3 Slices butter
  • 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp mixed herbs
  • 2 Tbsp oregano
  • salt & pepper

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Peel and dice your root vegetables and potatoes. Load into the slow cooker, along with seasoning, and mix well.
  2. Prep your turkey crown. Peel back the skin and load it with butter slices. Then smoother with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, oregano, and mixed herbs.
  3. Place the turkey crown over the vegetables and cook for 2.5 hours on high.
  4. Whilst the slow cooker is cooking your turkey crown, print out the recipe for air fryer stuffing balls, prep them and put to one side. When the slow cooker has done 2.5 hours add in stuffing balls into the gaps. Then cook for a further 90 minutes.
  5. When the slow cooker is nearly done print off the frozen sprouts and frozen parsnips recipes and cook them. When the slow cooker is done, remove the turkey crown and allow to rest. Whilst it is resting load the remaining contents of the slow cooker into a blender with a slice of your turkey and blend to make a creamy gravy sauce.
  6. Serve your turkey crown with sprouts, parsnips, stuffing balls, and gravy.

Notes

  • Ahead. You can also make your stuffing ahead of time and then leave in the fridge for later. Also, you can prep the turkey the night before and then put it on the next day when you are ready.
  • Low. You can also cook a turkey crown on low and cook it overnight. Simply put it on low when you go to bed and turn it off when you wake up 8 hours later. Though, because you can’t add the stuffing balls halfway through, you can instead cook them in the air fryer.
