Ingredients

  • 12 ounces turkey sausage cut into 1/4-inch thick rounds, or kielbasa
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 carrot peeled and chopped, medium
  • 1 celery chopped, stalk
  • 1/2 kale chopped (about 4 cups, medium bunch
  • 3 cups chicken broth fat-free low-sodium
  • 1 red kidney beans 15.5-ounce can, rinsed and drained
  • 1 great northern beans 15.5-ounce can, rinsed and drained
  • 1 diced tomatoes 14.5-ounce can, Italian seasoned
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon basil dried

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. In a slow cooker, combine all of the ingredients. Stir to combine.
  2. Place the lid on the cooker and cook on low until the vegetables are tender, 4-5 hours.
