Ingredients

  • 2 cups Fruit e.g., strawberries, blueberries, mango, or watermelon, fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1/3 cup sparkling water
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice or lime juice, fresh
  • 1 teaspoon honey optional, or agave nectar

Instructions

  1. Rinse and chop the fresh fruit if you're using fresh varieties. Measure out 2 cups of the fruit.
  2. In a high-speed blender, add the fruit, ice cubes, sparkling water, lemon or lime juice, and honey or agave nectar if desired.
  3. Mix the ingredients at high speed until you achieve a smooth, slushy texture. If needed, add more ice or sparkling water to achieve desired consistency.
  4. Pour the slushie into a glass and enjoy immediately.
