Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt more or less to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder more or less to taste

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Add all of the ingredients to a bowl and whisk to combine.
  2. Taste and add additional salt or vinegar depending on tastes.
  3. Spoon immediately onto burgers or store in the fridge for up to 1 week.

Notes

  • You can swap the garlic salt for garlic powder and just add salt to taste, if that's what you usually keep on hand.
  • Use dill pickle juice in place of the vinegar if you prefer that flavor. Add pickle relish for more of a thousand island vibe.
  • Add a teaspoon or two of prepared horseradish or sriracha for a little kick.
  • This sauce takes a good burger and makes it great, but don’t just limit yourself to smashburgers. It’s good on a classic, thicker burger or as a dip for french fries.
