Ingredients
- 56 ounces canned baked beans do not drain
- 1 red bell pepper diced
- 2 jalapeños diced
- 1 white onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 4 slices thick-cut bacon
Instructions
- Pre-heat your smoker to 250 F.
- Add baked beans to a cast iron skillet. Add the rest of the ingredients (except for bacon), and stir to combine.
- Place bacon slices on top, then put in your smoker and cook for about 2 hours - until the beans are heated through and the bacon is cooked. Stir before serving.
