Ingredients
- 4 cups green beans fresh, cut (or 3 cans drained)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream soup mushroom, celery or chicken
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce
- 4 cups chicken broth or water
- 1 cup cheese shredded, divided (optional)
- 1 cup crispy fried onions
Instructions
- Get out and measure your ingredients.
- Prepare a casserole sized foil pan with butter or non-stick spray, set aside.
- In a mixing bowl combine the soup, milk, soy sauce, black pepper, and ½ of the shredded cheese.
- Boil green beans in chicken broth or water until they are bright green, roughly five minutes.
- Stir in beans and ⅔ cup fried onions.
- Pour mixture into the lightly greased foil pan.
- Smoke at 250 degrees for about 30-45 minutes, until the mixture is bubbling.
- Remove from smoker and sprinkle the top of the casserole with the remaining fried onions and shredded cheese.
- Return to the smoker for an additional 20-30 minutes, until the cheese has melted and is golden brown.
- Serve.
