S'mores Chocolate Marshmallow Rice Krispies Treats

S'more Rice Krispie Treats made with Golden Graham, Rice Krispies, Marshmallows, Butter, and Hershey's Milk Chocolate Bars. The perfect S'more Rice Krispies that can be made in less than 15 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup salted butter
  • 20 ounces marshmallows (Two 10-ounce bags, about 10 cups)
  • 4 cups Golden Grahams cereal
  • 3 1/2 to 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 6 ounces Hershey milk chocolate bars
  • sea salt

Instructions

  1. Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add butter and let melt.
  2. Reserve and set aside 2 cups of marshmallows. Add remaining marshmallows to the pot and let melt, stirring often.
  3. Once the marshmallows are melted, remove from the heat. Add Golden Grahams Cereal and Rice Krispies Cereal. Once it is completely coated, add reserved 2 cups of marshmallows. Stir just until combined.
  4. Line a 9 x 13 pan with parchment paper or foil and lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray. Pour the s'mores treats into pan. Gently press down but don't press too hard or it will compress the treats. If you want thicker treats, don't press to the edges but use a spatula to lightly press the treats to the center.
  5. Lightly press half of the Hershey Bars into the treats. The chocolate may start to melt so reserve half for later, once the bars have cooled. If you want to a little salty and sweet, sprinkle with a touch of sea salt.
  6. Let cool for 1 hour. Press the remaining half of the Hershey Bars into the treats.
  7. Cut into 16 or 24 squares. Keep covered or in a sealed bag.
