Snickerdoodle Blondies
Snickerdoodle Blondies are perfectly buttery and chewy bars flavored with nutmeg and cinnamon, then topped off with a cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter softened, unsalted
- 2 cups brown sugar , packed
- 2 large egg
- 1 tablespoons vanilla extract
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Cinnamon Sugar topping:
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray an 8x8 baking dish with baking spray.
- To your stand mixer add the butter and brown sugar and cream on medium speed until fluffy, about 1 minute.
- Add in eggs and vanilla extract until creamy.
- Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, cream of tartar, and nutmeg until just combined.
- Pour into the baking dish and spread evenly.
- Mix 1 tablespoon sugar with 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and sprinkle over the batter evenly.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes.
- Cool completely before slicing.
