Snickerdoodle Blondies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted and cooled until no longer warm to the touch
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 Tablespoon milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon cream of tartar
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
Topping
  • 3 Tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F (175C).
  2. Grease and flour (or line with parchment paper) a 13x9 pan. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, and milk. Stir well.
  4. Add in eggs and vanilla extract and stir until combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cream of tartar and salt.
  6. Stir dry ingredients into butter mixture until combined.
  7. Spread batter evenly into prepared 13x9 pan and prepare topping.
Topping
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together granulated sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over snickerdoodle blondie batter.
  2. Bake on 350F (175C) for 25-28 minutes or toothpick inserted in center comes out clean or with moist crumbs (not wet batter).
