Snickerdoodle Recipe

Snickerdoodles are soft, chewy cookies characterized by their cinnamon sugar coating and tender crumb. This recipe combines cream of tartar and baking soda for a classic texture and slight tang, while the cinnamon sugar exterior adds a delicate crunch and warmth. Simple ingredients like butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla come together into a smooth dough, rolled twice in the cinnamon sugar blend for even flavor. Baking at 350°F for 8-10 minutes yields cookies with a slight chew on the inside and crisper edges, making them a timeless treat for any time of day.
