Snickers Stuffed Dates
Snickers Stuffed Dates are the perfect combination of sweet and salty with rich chocolate flavor! They're easy to make with chewy dates filled with peanut butter and dipped in melted chocolate. Finish with a sprinkle of nuts for a healthy treat that tastes like a candy bar!
Ingredients
- 10-12 Medjool dates pitted
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter or nut butter of choice, or almond butter
- 2 tablespoons peanut or nuts of choice, chopped
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips or chocolate of choice
Instructions
- Slice each date along one side and remove the pit. Fill each date with about 1/2 teaspoon peanut butter and top with a sprinkle of chopped peanuts.
- Insert a toothpick into the side of the date in order to close and secure it. Repeat with the rest of the dates.
- Melt chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second increments, gently stirring to melt (alternatively melt over a double burner).
- Lift the dates using the toothpick and dip into the chocolate mixture. You can submerge halfway or cover the entire date with chocolate, as desired.
- Transfer to a parchment paper lined sheet pan and immediately sprinkle with more chopped nuts. Transfer to the fridge to set for 20-30 minutes.
