Sour Cream and Chive Dip

Sour cream and chive dip is a classic party favourite. It's a creamy and tangy dip and is made with just 4 ingredients. Perfect for dipping!

Ingredients

  • 200 g sour cream
  • 100 g mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives chopped
  • sea salt and ground black pepper to taste

  1. Put all of the ingredients into a bowl.
  2. Mix well to combine.

Notes

  • The quickest and easiest way to cut chives is to use a pair of scissors. Make sure they are cut finely, as you don't want big strands of chives in this.
  • Make sure you reserve a few chives for garnishing.
  • Don't use a blender to make this, as it isn't really any quicker (more washing up) and it doesn't give you the best texture.
  • For a little kick of heat, you could add a splash of your favourite hot sauce to this dip.
