Ingredients

  • 1 cup ripe bananas , mashed
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs , at room temperature
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter , melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9x5 loaf pan with baking spray.
  2. In large bowl, stir mashed bananas, sugar, eggs, butter, vanilla, and sour cream.
  3. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Gently add dry ingredients to wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour into loaf pan and bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
