Sour Cream Sauce

It's so easy to make sour cream sauce at home. All you need is sour cream, fresh chives, a few common pantry spices and a splash of milk.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream I used low fat
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives plus extra for garnish
  • ¼ teaspoon fine salt
  • 2 - 3 tablespoons milk (as needed) see my notes

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. In a small bowl, combine sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, chives and salt.
  2. Stir well to incorporate.
  3. Add milk gradually until you reach your desired consistency.
  4. Sprinkle with extra chives and serve.
