Ingredients
- 1 large head green cabbage sliced thin
- 1/2 red bell pepper sliced thin
- 8 oz bacon turkey, or pork
- 8 oz sausage chicken, turkey or
- 1/2 green bell pepper sliced thin
- 1/2 yellow bell pepper sliced thin
- 1/2 onion diced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 oz low sodium chicken broth
- Water as needed
Spices
- 1 tsp Adobo
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Start by slicing green cabbage into thin strips. Slice bacon and sausage.
- Sear bacon and sausage on medium heat until cooked, remove.
- Add olive oil to same pan that you seared your bacon and sausage, and begin cooking peppers and onions
- Toss in green cabbage, chicken broth and seasonings
- Cook for 10-15 minutes on low heat, or until cabbage is soft
