Sparkling Peach Sangria
Sparkling Peach Sangria combines fresh peach slices and raspberries with Pinot Grigio, peach schnapps, and simple syrup for a fruit-forward wine punch. Chilled before serving, it is topped with champagne for effervescence, making it a light, refreshing drink that balances sweetness and acidity. Ingredients
- 3 cups peach sliced
- 2 cups raspberry
- 750 mL Pinot Grigio wine
- 1 cup simple syrup (see note)
- 1 cup Peach Schnapps
- 750 mL champagne
Instructions
- Add the sliced peaches and raspberries to a large pitcher.
- Pour in the wine, simple syrup, and peach schnapps. Stir to combine.
- Chill the fridge for at least 1 hour to overnight.
- To serve: Add some fruit from the pitcher into a wine glass. Fill the glass halfway with sangria and then the rest of the way with champagne. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Frozen peaches and raspberries can be used if fresh are unavailable or out of season.
- Homemade simple syrup is made by heating equal parts water and sugar until sugar dissolves, then cooled completely before use.
