Spiced Roasted Walnuts with Honey Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons honey
  • 1 Teaspoon red chili pepper flakes
  • 1 Teaspoon paprika sweet or hot paprika
  • ¼ Teaspoon salt
  • 2 Cup walnuts halves

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 Fahrenheit/ 180 Celsius.
  2. Heat up a pan over a medium-low heat setting and stir in your honey with the salt, chili flakes and paprika powder. Let the honey melt and mix everything well.
  3. Take the pan from the heat and stir the walnuts into the spiced honey mixture. Coat the walnuts by mixing them with the honey.
  4. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and spread the honey covered walnuts over the baking sheet equally.
  5. Roast the walnuts in the oven for about 5 mins at 350 Fahrenheit/ 180 Celsius or until the honey appears to have hardened on the walnuts.
  6. Let the walnuts cool down before you enjoy them as a snack.
