Spiced Rum Grilled Peaches – Grilled Peaches Recipe

Spiced Rum Grilled Peaches are a simple, but elegant summer dessert that takes just a couple of minutes to make.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon butter melted, plus 2 tablespoon more for the pan
  • 4 large ripe peaches, cut in half and stone removed
  • 4 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3 tablespoon dark rum
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • mint or basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat grill on low
  2. brush cut halves of peaches with melted butter, and grill, cut side down, about 3 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, whisk together maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, rum and vanilla in a small bowl
  4. Remove peaches and place in a cast iron pan, cut side up.
  5. Spoon rum mixture over the peaches
  6. Place pan back on the grill, cover, and cook for 5 minutes, until peaches are tender, but not mushy.
  7. Remove from heat, and from pan, immediately
  8. Serve warm, with a dollop of whipped cream, or vanilla ice cream and mint or basil leaves for garnish.
