Spicy Alaska Crab Stuffed Mushrooms

Spicy crab stuffed mushrooms are the perfect appetizer! Juicy mushrooms filled with a spicy crab filling are so delicious and easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 20 white button mushrooms cleaned
  • 8 oz Dungeness Crab Meat Alaska
  • 1 yellow onion diced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup Monterey jack cheese shredded
  • 1/4 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 4 tbsp panko bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions sliced
  • 1/4 cup parsley chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 375F and coat a cast iron skillet using olive oil. Set aside. 
  2. Remove the stems of the mushrooms and place them in the skillet. 
  3. Pour 1 tbsp olive oil in another pan and heat it over medium heat. 
  4. Sauté onion and garlic in the pan until golden brown. 
  5. Add in Alaska crab meat and cook for a few minutes. 
  6. Add in bay seasoning, paprika and salt to the crab and stir. 
  7. Add in the cheeses and half of the bread crumb. Mix well until all incorporated. 
  8. Turn the heat off and stuff the mushroom caps with the filling. Top with some more bread crumbs. 
  9. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes until the mushrooms are cooked. 
  10. Top with green onions and parsley. Serve immediately.
