Spicy Avocado Crostini Appetizer

Ingredients

  • 1 Large avocado
  • Juice of one lime or lemon
  • Pinch salt
  • Pinch Black Pepper Ground ground
  • ½ Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Ground ground
  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil + 1 Tbs extra for toasting
  • 1 Piece garlic clove
  • 8 lices baguette or ciabatta
  • Cilantro Fresh or parsley, chives, basil,...

Instructions

  1. Cut your avocado in half, discard the seed core and spoon all the fruit flesh into a mixer jar. Quickly add lime juice before the avocado turns brown.
  2. Add seasoning: Salt, pepper and cayenne pepper powder. As well as 3 Tablespoons of olive oil and 1 garlic pod.
  3. Blend so a smooth paste.
  4. Cut bread into thick slices and drizzle olive oil over your slices.
  5. Place under a griller until the bread is toasted golden brown.
  6. Spread spicy avocado paste over crunchy grilled bread slices and garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley or chives or basil or gardencress.
