Spicy Broccoli with Garlic

Ingredients

  • 2-3 tbsp water
  • 1 crown of broccoli cut into florets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • Pinch of crushed red pepper
  • Sea Salt and Freshly Cracked Pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp rice vinegar or more to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a simmer in a large skillet over medium heat. Add broccoli florets; cook, covered, until bright green, 2-3 minutes.
  2. Stir in the olive oil, minced garlic, sea salt & freshly cracked pepper, to taste, and crushed red pepper flakes. Cook, stirring often, for 2 minutes, or until crisp-tender.
  3. Remove the skillet from heat; stir in vinegar, then mix until evenly coated.
  4. Pour into a serving bowl. Serve immediately. Enjoy.
