Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic minced
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes plus more to taste
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
- Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3 minutes or until shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Stir in the garlic, red pepper flakes, and lemon zest. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from the heat. Add the lemon juice and parsley and toss to coat before serving warm.

- You can use tail-on of tail-off shrimp, both will work just fine.
