Spicy Garlic Shrimp

Spicy Garlic Shrimp has bold flavors and only takes 10 minutes from start to finish! This is the best shrimp dish I've ever had, hands down!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes plus more to taste
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
  2. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3 minutes or until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  4. Stir in the garlic, red pepper flakes, and lemon zest. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  5. Remove from the heat. Add the lemon juice and parsley and toss to coat before serving warm.

Notes

  • You can use tail-on of tail-off shrimp, both will work just fine.
